Fifth Grade is the final transitional step from elementary school to middle school. This critical year builds upon the practices of organization and independence that were instilled deeply in Fourth Grade.
Fifth Graders study Medieval to Modern World History. Young scientists take on the marvels of Earth Science - volcanoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis, oh my! In Math, students experience their final year of Arithmetic - mastering the interplay between fractions and decimals and understanding numbers to 1 billion! Students are learning to write persuasively and to analyze literature in a more mature way. Fifth Grade is exciting, challenging, and fulfilling.
