Mr. Singh is excited to join the Hilldale school as a Science Teacher.  With a passion for science and math, he is committed to creating an engaging and dynamic learning environment for students.  He holds a Bachelor's degree in Science from Panjab University, a Master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry from G N D University, and both Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Education from Kurukshetra University in India.  Additionally, he has earned a Graduate Diploma in Teaching Science and Chemistry from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

Having taught middle school science & math, Mr. Singh is dedicated to nurturing 21st-century skills, including collaboration, curiosity, critical thinking, perseverance, and problem-solving.  His approach fosters exploration of the natural world and encourages a growth mindset.  He views mathematics as a fundamental skill for understanding patterns and making logical connections, offering students a new perspective on the world.

Mr. Singh values each student's individuality and promotes self-acceptance.  His background in the chemical industry enriches his teaching, allowing him to incorporate hands-on experiments that make science engaging and relevant.  Outside of school, he enjoys walking with his wife and running with his daughter in Golden Gate Park, experimenting with household chemicals, and practicing yoga and mindfulness.  He is proud of his two daughters, one of whom is a software engineer and the other a private client banker.  Mr. Singh is enthusiastic about the upcoming school year and the opportunity to inspire students in scientific discovery.
